We are down to one lone GearHead, Jack. He has worked hard to get the bike this far with the help of our own Evergreen member Mike W.
Mike has taken time out of his schedule to come work with Jack during the day to assemble the Triumph and teach him about proper repair techniques on the old iron. Jack completed the awesome paint work on the 71 TR6C in late May to return it to it's former glory which is as close to stock as we could reasonably get it. It will be done in time for the American Legion swap meet July 14th for sure and maybe early enough for the small bore roar July 7th. Some days I struggle with only one students working on the Triumph, but in the bigger scheme of things, it is totally worth it! Some of the other students have watched the process, asked good questions, and maybe they will remember this one day in the future when they want a motorcycle. This is another success for the Evergreen chapter! Stay tuned for the finished bike!!!! It is a LOOKER! Nate Z.
